How can I get the best price on a Sturdi Built Greenhouse?

When will my greenhouse kit arrive after I place an order?
Most greenhouse kits are ready for pickup or shipping within 60 to 90 days of your order. Once your kit ships, you’ll receive tracking details by email, and the delivery driver will call 24 hours in advance to schedule your delivery.
This lead time gives you an opportunity to: Prepare your foundation, prep water and electrical, get your flooring ready.
What is your product warranty policy?
We stand firmly behind the quality of every product we sell. All items are guaranteed free from defects in materials and workmanship, so you can buy with confidence.
For products or components not made by Sturdi Built, you’re still covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty. While we’re not responsible for installation-related damage or third-party components, we’re here to help guide you through the process if issues arise.
If shipping damage occurs, please notify the delivery driver and contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can resolve it quickly.
You’ll have a 14-day inspection period from the date of delivery or pickup—whether you choose Local Delivery, Pick-Up, Common Carrier, or Door-to-Door service—to ensure everything meets your expectations.
Our warranty does not cover damage from neglect, misuse, acts of nature, improper storage, or improper stain application.
When a warranty claim is approved, we’ll provide replacement parts, repairs, or another resolution at our discretion, always aiming to get you back to enjoying your product as soon as possible.
Is a foundation required?
Yes—a level, square foundation is essential for strength and performance. Common choices:
- Treated timber perimeter with gravel base (best for 10′ wide or less)
- Treated timber + gravel base + concrete piers (for sloped sites)
- Concrete perimeter footing (ideal for frost-prone areas)
- Deck or patio with timber plate secured to surface
Do I need to paint or stain my greenhouse?
Yes—stain or paint before installation:
- Oil-based exterior stains (transparent or solid) such as SuperDeck, Penofin Red Label, or Cabot’s.
- For paint: two coats of oil-based primer first.
If storing parts before install, stain in advance and keep dry/shaded.
Do we have to pay sales tax?
Sales tax depends on your location and will appear as a separate line item on your estimate or invoice. If you pick up your greenhouse in Portland, no sales tax applies.
What is your return policy?
All returns require prior approval. Restocking fees apply (15% for accessories). Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
We live in Washington—can we avoid Washington sales tax?
Yes:
- Pick up in Portland, Oregon → No Washington sales tax.
- Delivery or shipping to WA → Tax must be collected.
